The Award Winning Harkey House is an elegant, creamy yellow 1874 Italian Victorian Inn and was the home of former Sutter County Sheriff, William Pinckney Harkey. It is located in a quiet historical neighborhood, only a short walk to shopping and restaurants, and offers three guests rooms and Camilla's Cottage. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the hosts! Everything was to perfection. Clean and well attended, I would recommend this to everyone. Breakfast was just perfect. Well located to other restaurants and shops.

I was in town from Florida visiting my daughter and her family who are stationed at Beale AFB. What a great find! Bob and Lee were great hosts. The Harkey House is clean, clean, CLEAN! Beds and pillows great. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely stay at the Harkey House.

What a wonderful place to stay if Yuba City is a stop on your trip! Bob and Lee are wonderful, the breakfast each morning made me feel I was back at the Cumberland Hotel in London! We stayed in the cottage and it was comfortable, private and right next to the pool! Thank you for being a part of my California summer!!
